Introducing SFW Hub: Shoreditch

Introducing our Hub partner in Shoreditch, CLOSWAP!

CLOSWAP that allows people to trade clothes online and offline. They aim to match the pace, price and practicality of fast fashion, whilst designing the app to appeal to Gen Z. Founded just over a year ago, they've already welcomed 15,000 attendees at their events and collaborated with prestigious organisations like Global Fashion Exchange, TEDx, and branches of Harvard University. Currently in its prototype stage, CLOSWAP has already been revolutionising clothes swapping with live events in and around London.

The team is passionate about fashion and sustainability, having come from diverse backgrounds, they are united by the mission to make fashion circular and accessible. CLOSWAP is a startup that is lead by students and for students, with 3 co-founders, Maria Remy, Peter Zakhar and Dominik Vesely.

CLOSWAP is the perfect solution to declutter, save money, and find new unique outfits.

You could save up to 34kg of CO2, 4000 L of Water and around ~£50 for each swap you make!

Here's how it works:

How to CLOSWAP:

  1. Go through your closet and find items you no longer wear.

  2. Bring your items to CLOSWAP.

  3. Our team checks your clothes for quality (No Stink, No Rip).

  4. Receive tokens for your items.

  5. Browse and pick items brought by others.

  6. Take home your favorite new pieces!

  7. Leftover items are donated.

  8. Keep any remaining tokens for future events.

What CLOSWAP attendees say:

  • "The most community-driven swap I have attended."

  • "It's not just a Closwap, it's a place you can spend your whole day at."

  • "The most unique clothes and all of them are free. It's basically paradise for second-hand shoppers."

You can expect the CLOSWAP app to launch soon but in the meantime, you can attend live events in and around London to swap clothes, make friends and leave with new outfits.
