#MENDITMAY 2025

Each year we get our community mending in May. What’s the ask? Mend one item in the month of May to save it from landfill. This is a digital campaign that takes place on Instagram primarily, but also through in-person workshops too! Keep an eye on our Community Events page for something on near you.

New for 2025: we’ve turned it into a competition. We’ve got 5 categories and 5 chances to win a little prize to say well done!

When you upload your images to Instagram, tell us the story of your mend and which category you’d like it to be considered for.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

For #MenditMay we spend the whole month on our social channels focusing on the power of repair. Whether you’re a beginner of an expert… Here’s how to get involved:

- Start by getting those needles out!

- Throughout the process, or once you’re finished, take pics or videos of the brilliant work you’ve done, no matter how it comes out.

- Post your pics to Instagram, tag us and add the hashtag #MenditMay
