Introducing our third international Hub partners in Brooklyn, New York and Atlantic City, New Jersey!
Leading the Brooklyn hub are Rick Davis and Bridgett Artiste, the founders of Sustainable Fashion Week USA.
Rick is the brains behind the non-profit BK Style Foundation which bridges the gap between community and fashion, seeking to support and promote the talent of emerging designers and creatives in Brooklyn and around the globe. For over 14 years, Rick has run Fashion Week Brooklyn, which celebrates the creativity of Brooklyn and offers an alternative to the Manhattan focused New York Fashion Week.
Bridgett Artiste is a NY Times featured vintage style expert and the founder of Born Again Vintage and House of Bav, which creates one of a kind sustainable garments and celebrates the beauty of vintage clothes. Bridgett created one of the first sustainable classes at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
Established in 2020, Sustainable Fashion Week USA has long championed sustainability through a range of community events including designer showcases, clothing swaps, upcycling workshops, talks, sustainable design competitions and much more. Currently based at Tanger Outlets in Atlantic City, SFW USA will be hosting a range of remote events as part of their activities for this year’s event - it’s not one to miss!
