Introducing our second international hub in Balgalore, India!
Our second international hub is based in Bangalore, India and is delivered by two friends, Priyanka and Laghna. Dr Priyanka is an aesthetic dentist and nature lover, who is passionate about creativity and fashion, and Dr Laghna is a practising paediatric and preventive dentist and child psychologist.
United by their love of fashion and sustainability, Priyanka and Laghna promote the advantages of slow fashion and environmentally conscious practices including rewearing and reusing fashion in Bangalore. They work to revive, celebrate and promote the ethical practices of Indian heritage crafts such as natural dyeing and printing.
Working with SFW since 2022, Priyanka and Laghna have been leading events in their community centred around sustainable fashion, including upcycling jeans and denim. With more workshops and shows in the pipeline, they are committed to creating a journey towards a sustainable-fashion friendly future!
