We’re recruiting! Join our team…

We’re on the hunt for two volunteers to join our Community Inclusion team, to help us reach out to the diverse Bristol communities and support them in getting involved with SFW 2021.

Community Inclusion is a crucial part of our SFW work - where we amplify and elevate the work of people in the community and their action against the negative impacts of the fashion industry.

Want to join the SFW team? We’re all volunteers, supporting this community-led, not-for-profit event in our spare time. We’re looking for dynamic team players who are committed to supporting change at grass root level. We want our team members to add their voice to our planning, helping us to shape our programming in a way that attracts and benefits as wide an audience as possible.

We are actively recruiting team members from all backgrounds, ages, genders and abilities - and specifically people from Black, Asian and minority ethnic groups. We aim to increase the diversity of our team with each recruitment drive. Our Community Inclusion team members would benefit from having an understanding of Intersectional Environmentalism, the barriers to participation in the sustainability movement for people from different backgrounds and the needs and experience of marginalised groups. For this SFW role we also believe that living in Bristol and having an understanding of the city areas would be very beneficial, but ultimately not essential.

Have a look at the brief role description below and get in touch!
