Brighton Fashion Collective is a community group comprising of passionate individuals and two leading local non-profit organisations: Brighton Peace & Environment Centre, a long-standing local environmental charity, and Sew Fabulous, a not for profit sewing studio and Community Interest Company.
Their mission is to champion sustainable fashion initiatives locally and amplify impactful national and international campaigns. They proudly produce Brighton Sustainable Fashion Week each year, and host a diverse array of events throughout the year, all dedicated to fostering a more sustainable and ethical approach to fashion.

Exchange your pre-loved autumn and winter clothes, and say ‘no thanks’ to fast fashion at this fun and free clothes swap. Bring up to 5 pre-loved garments to exchange for tokens. Each garment will be graded and you’ll get tokens to spend at the swap.

DIY REPAIR SPACE WITH SEW FABULOUS
Bring along your simple mending jobs and learn how to sew on a button, take up a hem and undertake DIY simple mends. Gain help and learn how to fix your clothes with the Sew Fabulous mending team. Suitable teens, adults, beginners and those with some experience. Hand and machine sewing offered.

Join Sew Fabulous’s visible mending expert The Stitching Magpie for an introduction to darning. Darning is a way of repairing holes or worn areas in your clothing, make a feature of your mends or blend them in for an invisible finish.
