Norland, the world-famous specialist early years higher education provider, is delighted to host the SFW Hub: Bath. Throughout its 132-year-history, Norland has upheld its core values which place children at the heart of all it does.
Sustainability is woven throughout Norland’s award-winning degree and integrated diploma training in early childhood education and care. Norland sewing lecturers Kate Jaeger and Jo Price have curated a series of workshops and events for a range of ages.

Bring a garment for repair or embellishment. Explore simple stitching and printing techniques, guided by Norland sewing lecturers. Ages 5-12, adults must attend. No experience needed. Proceeds go to Fashion Revolution.

Join Lizzie David (@little_moth_mends) to learn creative hand darning with colourful yarn. Bring worn knitwear to mend and personalise. Ages 7-16, adults must attend. Materials provided. All abilities welcome, proceeds go to Labour Behind the Label.

Join us for a clothes swap to refresh your wardrobe responsibly. Bring up to 5 items of adult clothing in good condition. Arrive at 2pm for clothes drop-off and sustainable stylist Becky Barne’s opening talk. Proceeds go to Labour Behind the Label.

Fashion Revolution is the world’s largest fashion activism movement, mobilising citizens, industry, and policymakers through research, education, and advocacy work. Fashion Revolution’s global movement spans over 80 countries with a collective vision for a fashion industry that conserves and restores the environment and values people over growth and profit. Proceeds from Norland's SFW activities will be raised for Fashion Revolution.
Labour Behind the Label is a campaign that works to improve conditions and empower workers in the global garment industry. Founded in 2001, we have over two decades of experience in awareness raising, research and lobbying in support of workers’ demands for improved pay and conditions. Proceeds from Norland's SFW activities will be raised for Labour Behind the Label.
The Sewing Studio: The Sewing Studio is a family-run shop in Bath, offerings fabrics, notions, machine sales (new and refurbished) and repairs for sustainable garment creations. Enjoy 10% off all haberdashery and fabric items in-store during SFW24.
